I have been a professional chef for over 32 years 18 of those years on yachts, original trained in French and English cuisine and having also learned most of the other cuisines of the world , with an emphasis on healthy and light eating. crew on an owner/charter yacht.

Private 10 crew 12 guest , going through a ship yard period at the moment 2020 to 2021 due to covid did not return to Azzurra as planned , and found freelance work on yachts MY Mia, MY Tatiana, MY Alibi, MY Mosaque.

MY Azzurra 55 meter April 2019 to Nov 2019
Med season, Charter & Owner, Solo chef, 12 guest and 14 crew was due to return this year but owner is ill and the coronavirus the position is on hold – the captain told me it may be better for me to look for a new position.

Med season then ship yard in Italy then we were based in London Docklands for the winter. Guest 10 and 10 crew solo chef

MY Liberta 43 meters May 2015 to Oct 2015.
This was a explore style yacht, Russian owners. This was
a seasonal position cursing the Mediterranean, with 9 crew and 10 guest

MY Lady Petra 48 meters May 2014 to March 2015.
Private Dutch owners ,cruised Mediterranean
including Turkey, sole chef with 10 crew and 12 guest.

MY Cheetah Moon 40 meters April 2013 to 2013.
Owner and Charter, cruised in Italy, Greece and
Turkey waters with 12 guest and 7 crew .This was a Seasonal position

MY Tanushe 40 meters March 2012 to Feb 2013.
Private Russian owned yacht based in the Mediterranean. Solo chef cooking for 12 guest and 8 crew. Also worked in the owners villa in Spain.

MY Perpetual 30 meter June 2011 to Sept 2011.
This was a seasonal position onboard a yacht which was both private and also charter. I was responsible for all meals, provisioning and menu
preparation. Onboard there were usually 12 guests with 5 crew.

M/Y Lady Christina 65 meter April 2006 to 2009.
Employed as a solo chef on this private yacht which
cruised throughout the Mediterranean. This yacht consistently had aboard 14 guests with usually 15
crew.

M/Y Blue Belle 40 meter Jan 03 to 06.
Privately owned yacht with 10 guests and also 7 crew. Based in the Mediterranean.

M/Y Atlantic Goose 45 meter March 02 to Jan 03.
Solo chef onboard for both the owners and charters. Cruised both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean; reason for leaving was a change of Captain. The yacht usually had up to 12 guests and 9 crew

M/Y Midnight Saga 57meter Feb 01 to Feb 02.
Employed as the head chef with a both a Sous chef and a galley hand under my supervision. This was a very busy charter yacht with many high profile guests and a very diverse expectation of types of cuisine. The yacht was sold and a new crew employed. 20 crew and up to14 guests.

M/Y Le Marriah 40 meter June97 to Nov 2000.
Sole Chef on board with both owner and charter trips.
Cruised the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Central America, & Alaska. The yacht was sold. The yacht held 7 crew and up to 12 guests

M/Y Sea Crest 39meter April 96 to Oct 96.
This yacht was both private and charter which cruised
throughout the Mediterranean. 7 crew and up to 12 guests.

Previous employment before yachting
I worked in London hotels and restaurants , such as the Piccadilly, Cavendish and Ritz Hotels, and restaurants include the Caprice and the Gavrash {3 star Michelin} I also worked for Shell as a hospitality chef winning a gold medal at the Hotel Olympia. I followed this working as head chef for Eaton Executive Catering for six years. The company was an outside caterer working mainly in the City of London, catering for up to 900 covers at the Guildhall London to Executive lunch for 4 people, as well as Paris and Farnborough air shows. I was employed as Executive Head chef at the Hurlingham Club, Fulham for two years.
